01 / Method
How to use this tool
- 1
Enter pallet and case dimensions in one unit.
- 2
Set the maximum loaded height and, optionally, case and load weights.
- 3
Review the proposed layer pattern and verify it physically.
02 / Model
Assumptions
- Cases are rigid rectangles with no overhang.
- Layouts use axis-aligned cases and may use simple full-width strips.
- Loaded height excludes the pallet deck itself.
03 / Boundaries
Limitations
- Does not optimize arbitrary mosaic, pinwheel, chimney, interlock, stability, compression, or pallet edge support.
- Weight limits do not evaluate load distribution or pallet capacity.
04 / Common questions
Frequently asked questions
Can the calculator mix orientations?
Yes, it evaluates simple strip-mixed layers as well as both uniform orientations.
Does it include pallet height?
No. Maximum loaded height is the available height for cases only.
